Abby FINALLY giggles!!!
This is Abigail's VERY FIRST GIGGLE!! Jason and I were starting to think she would never do it. But it was well worth the wait!
My new babyhawk
This is my new baby carrier. I got to pick out all the pretty fabrics. It looks black in the pic, but it is expresso colored. I just love it. The inside is lined with minkee and is super soft for Abigail. I am sure you will see lots more pics as she pretty much lives in the thing. It makes life a LOT easier for mommy. Abigail is an "in arms" kind of baby and being able to put her on my back is fabulous. She can see what's going on and mommy can have BOTH of her hands!!
Mother's Day 08'
Well this silly mama only took one picture on mother's day. And this is it. Little Miss Abby in her cutie patootie red dress!!
We did have a great Mother's day though. Jason was a wonderful son and husband. He let me sleep in, and while I was sleeping he had the boys make mother's day cards for me. Then he took his mom and I out to breakfast at cracker barrel, while there he gave us both gift cards for Barnes and Noble (my favorite store). After a great breakfast, we decided to go to the mall for a bit. Jason took the boys and miss Abby so that the mother's could walk and shop in peace. I went to my favorite shop and decided to try on some dresses just for fun. Well Jason caught me in the dressing room and made a big deal about how beautiful his wife was, and then dragged me to the front and bought the dress I had on so that I could wear it home. I was so embarrassed and I probably turned ten shades of red, but it was soooooooo sweet!!! It is one of those memories that I will cherish forever. What a sweet hubby I have!!! After that we searched out a store that his mom had been dying to see, Coldwater Creek. After that, we were all tuckered out and we came home and just watched a movie. It really was a wonderful mother's day.
Family Day at the Opera...Pinochio!
For Mother's Day weekend we had Grandmother up and while she was here we took her with us to Family Day at the Opera. This year it was Pinochio. It was such fun!!! The Opera was absolutely fantastic, the boys just loved it, especially Noah. When we got thru with the show we had our faces painted and Noah was insistent that he was going to be the puppet Pinochio. They had a bunch of Jumpers and playhouses, but this year hands down the best part was the show itself!!
p.s. I know I look like a grump in the picture, I WAS smiling, but I was squinting because we had just come out of the building into the bright sunshine, hehe!
Baby Birds
A few weeks ago we were so excited to find a nest in a bush right out side our bathroom window. And even better it had newly hatched baby birds in it. It was sooooo much fun watching the baby birds. It really was perfect they were just outside the window and low enough we could see right in the nest. We had lots of fun constantly checking on them and watching and waiting for momma bird to come back and feed them.
It was a little sad the day we checked on them only to find an empty nest, they have all grown up and flown away.

Spring Fling
My mommy's group put on a big Springtime event for the group this year, and it turned out wonderful. The Event's committee worked hard to set up face painting, a balloon animal lady, and lots and lots of other fun stuff. It was a blast!!! And in the process of doing all that, I was asked to be co-events manager for the mom's group... Yay me!! Which means I get the esteemed privilege of storing all the STUFF for events, LOL!! But more importantly I get to head up a great team of women in the events committee and put all of our creative ideas together for some awesome events.... like this one!!
