Well this is my first experience with trying to make a gingerbread house with the boys. It was actually quite comical and a lot of fun. Our Peninsula mommies group decided to get together and make gingerbread houses for a playdate. So about 7 of us brought our babies to Shyan's house, and Shyan was nice enough to make the house pieces with a mold before we came. All we had to do was put it together. Or so we thought. 7 mommies 8 toddlers and 4 babies. And while the mom's were trying hold our walls steady and wait for the icing to dry our kids were running wild thru Shyan's house. It was really funny, it took forever to get the houses to stand up, and some of us didn't even manage that. And after all that effort most of us didn't even want the kids to touch them to decorate them. I have proof that mine was standing and decorated, but by the time I got home the roof had slid off. Oh Well, it was a fun experience that I will always remember!!
