Valentine's Day Party

I helped put together a valentine's day party for Peninsula Mommies last weekend. It was such fun! And Grandma Jeannie sent the boys heartbreaker t-shirts just in time for the party. They were so cute. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a very good shot of them at the party, mostly because I spent the entire time chasing them around, hehe! The first pic is of them sneaking candy before the guests arrive. And then Noah chowin' down on sprinkle covered cookies. They also did crafts there, but Noah didn't quite get it, he just like threading the beads on the pipe cleaners. He spent almost an hour filling up pipe cleaners with beads, and then when they were finished he would just start a new one. They were supposed to be little heart ornaments, but he never got that far. That last pic, is of the boys flirting with one of the baby girls at the party. Gabriel just loves babies.

Daddy's Helpers

I got a new bookcase for my books, because Jason's was starting to overflow. Jason turned it into a great little father son project. The boys had thier own little plastic tools, and daddy made sure they got to do some special jobs. They were so proud of themselves. I just love the picture of Gabriel helping Daddy read the instructions.

Visiting with Friends

The boys had a great time visiting with their pal Conner. Mommy was glad to see someone from home too. Kris and Doug were able to stop by for a few min. when Doug came up this way for work, and we are so glad they did.

Fertile Mertle

Exciting News at our house, we have new babies!!! Fish fry that is. We have a very Fertile fish in our tank, it has been very exciting! She had one set of babies, I counted 9 this morning. And she is preggo again. African Cichlids are mouth breeders, so you can tell in the pics by the little pouch under her mouth. Even though those babies look small, they have gotten a LOT bigger since we first spotted them. We thought for sure they would die, but they are thriving. We are going to have a jam packed tank before long, but for the moment it is just fun to watch all the action.

Nauticus

We went to the museum Nauticus last weekend and the boys participated in a preschoolers workshop. While we were there we got to see the Battleship USS Wisconsin. The boys learned all about plankton, and they watched one of the aquarium keepers feed the fish. She took us back behind the aquariums, and showed the kids what kind of food the animals eat. We even got to see a shark egg!

First Dollar Spent

Daddy asked Gabriel and Noah to clean up their toys before our trip to the mall. And Gabriel was such a BIG helper, so daddy gave him his first DOLLAR. He was so excited when we got to the mall, that dollar was "burnin' a hole in his pocket" We finally found something he could afford and we let him spend his dollar on a ring pop. He was so cute, he stood in line and paid the cashier, with a smile from ear to ear!! Brother was a bit jealous over the whole experience, maybe next time he will HELP CLEAN UP!

My little bookworms

Gabriel and Noah love to read. They are always grabbing books and handing them to me. But especially Noah, and he gets really upset if you don't take the time to read it.

Dress up Playdate

I hosted my first playdate yesterday and it was such fun!! All the kiddos brought dress up clothes they wanted to share. We had princesses, superheros, and a few that wanted to be both!
