Grandma and Grandpa's visit

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit last weekend so that they could meet miss Abby. We had such a great time with them. They took us out to eat at a hibachi grill. The boys were mesmerized with our cook. I wish I had taken my camera there. Gabriel's eyes couldn't have gotten any bigger. Noah didn't so much like the fire on the grill. He practically climbed mommy's arm, and Gabriel told everyone we shouldn't play with fire. But other than that they both loved it. And the food was great!

Halloween 2007

We had so much fun with Grandmother on Halloween. As you can see Grandmother looked great as Cruella Deville. Gabriel was a brave knight and Noah was the fierce dragon. And I finally got a lil' pumpkin for halloween, doesn't Abby look precious! Daddy had just shaved his head, so we decided to have fun with it and we put the boys' handprints and Abby's footprint on his head. We took the kids to trunk or treat at my church. It was great fun for the boys, and I got to show off Abigail for the first time to my church friends.

looking back on momma's visit

I know this is a bit out of order but I can't leave it out. My mom was an angel for us with this pregnancy. She came when I first started having latent labor at the beginning of the month, and stayed with me until I had Abigail. I had such a wonderful time with her, and we got so much accomplished. I think she was just trying to distract me from the focusing on how uncomfortable I was, but I am so thankful for all the stuff we got done. She custom designed and made my entire nursery set. Isn't it beautiful!!! I did the quilt. but I wouldn't have known how without her. She got up with my kiddos every morning, and did all my laundry a few times. It was so wonderful to be able to just relax and prepare for Abby's arrival without the day to day mommy stresses. So I just wanted to say THANKS MOMMA for making my first experience with the dreaded ninth month a sweet memory.

Don't forget the Marshmallows

It has been so much fun having daddy home with us for the past few days. Daddy is all about the special treats!! It finally got cold enough here that daddy could fix the boys YUMMY hot cocoa with MARSHMALLOWS, mmmmmm!!!

Grandmother meets Abigail

We are so happy that Grandmother was able to be a part of Abigail's first few days. We have always lived so far away that it wasn't something that she could do. It was very special to have her here, and I hope she will cherish the memories as much as we do.

Abigail is Here!!

Abigail Rose is finally here. She made her appearance on Oct. 28th at 4:43 am. Only 2 hours after the first contractions started. We got to the hospital only 13 min. before she was born. I really thought I might end up having a baby in the car!! But we made it just in time. She wieghed 7 pounds 11 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. The boys are completely taken by there little sister. We made shirts for them to wear when they met her, and a shirt for her too. Noah's says "I am the big brother" and Gabriel's says "I am the biggest brother". There sweet faces just glowed when they met her. Mommy and Daddy are a bit taken by her too.

I see poop!!

Noah and I went to Bluebird Gap Farm yesterday. We had great fun checking out all the animals. And we learned that even COWS poop, haha!!

Transportation Museum

While mom and Dad were here, I took Daddy to see the Army Transportation Museum. It turned out to be a very special trip for Noah though. Gabriel was at school so it was just Mommy, Noah and Papaw. Noah had a great time checking out all the planes, trains, and trucks with his Papaw.
