We had such fun this easter... there wasn't a whole lot of room for Easter extras in our budget, so mama had to get creative!!
Saturday we made paper easter baskets out of some of mommy's scrap paper, and we dyed some easter eggs. The easter baskets were especially fun, but by the time we finished I was plum wore OUT!
Sunday morning the Easter bunny brought baskets filled with goodies for the boys, they each got a Pad of doodle paper and stickers, and one basket had crayons while the other had markers. It was a basket on a budget, but they loved it, and are still filling there doodle pads up with all kinds of creativity.
Mamaw got the princess a beautiful easter dress, and she just looked absolutely precious all morning. She also wore a bonnet and coat that was mine when I was little. After church they had an Easter egg hunt. The boys got out there a bit late, but thanks to a lot of sweet kids they came away with PLENTY of eggs. After that we realized that all the eggs had candy in them... candy that Noah couldn't have, oops! So we ran by Trader Joe's and got him his own Gluten Free/Dairy Free Chocolate Bars. I was quite impressed with Noah. Mommy asked him if he would trade with me, My chocolate bars for his candy and he took it all in stride. Yay Noah!!!
After church we came home and had a Yummy Easter Dinner of Pork Chops, Sweet Potatoes, Steamed Veggies... and of course EASTER EGGS!!

What a great mommy. Those boys will remember that much more than an cellophane wrapped "perfect" basket. Look at those smiles:)
